Tim and I are back in the studio with Groundzer0 now. The re:course album has
been finished and is currently being mixed and engineered by Nikolas Phrasavath
@ Templum Ræl Studio (home of Sang Ræl). Therefore
Tim and I are free to continue on Groundzer0 now that we have coordinated our
schedules. We will update the GZ page soon as well as the media section. Lots
of work to do right now so give us some time and you will not be dissapointed! 2003.08.31
We are currently working on two projects in the studios. One of course is Groundzer0
which is nearing completion. It should be complete in another month or so. The
second project is re:course,
which is also near complete. Currently we are finishing up the vocals for the
album and starting final mixdown and mastering. The album is titled "Distance",
and it features 12 new tracks at about 68min running time. more info on this soon..
2003.08.18
We want to thank Franck
@Das Bunker for having us out to play last Friday. It was a great show and everyone
had alot of fun. Cannot believe how hot it was in Cali though, we wanted to get
away from Phoenix because of the heat and it was just as muggy and humid out there.
Here are some live pics of the show
taken by michael's wife Keri.. 2003.06.15
Just received news that SYNAPSE has been released by Wire as of the first of this
month! Sorry again about the delays and thanks again to John Reuss and all the
musicians that submitted remixes. A few of you will be receiving your promo copies
soon! 2003.05.20
Big update this time, sorry for the delay. First off we received some news from
Wire about SYNAPSE. They are expecting to release the CD at the end of this month,
there was quite a delay at the pressing factory as it seems this year is a very
big one for music. Wire is expecting our CD and the new ESR
to arrive at the same time. 2003.03.30
Finally we were able to upload the preview tracks of Groundzer0, also the artwork
is finished and some examples are on the GZ
page We are still awaiting info on the release of Synapse and if the NP remix
of Suicide Commando's "Face of Death" is going to be on the single. Anyhow, listen
to the tracks and we'll be back soon! 2003.02.06 Good news for everyone this
time. We have been extremly busy in the studio for the past couple months. We
unvieled a couple new songs for the Das Ich show and they went over wonderfully.
We are going to have some MP3 previews availible on our MEDIA page by this weekend.
Also there is all new art for Groundzer0, I am posting a couple desktops in
the SOIL section that will give you an idea of what is to come. Lastly, the
release date for SYNAPSE is going to be in May. I would have been sooner but
the damn post office lost our initial package that we sent to Wire just after
Christmas. The good news is that we are pushing to get a new Noise Process T-shirt
done and availible at the time of SYNAPSE release. Here is a preview: 2002.12.13 SYNAPSE is finally finished
and on it’s way to Wire. Tim caught a cold there for a couple weeks and that
delayed the vocals for the two new remixes of Dying World (Dead World & Groundzer0).
Last weekend though, he laid down the new vocals and did a final mixdown and
I finished up setting the text on John’s artwork and all the final work will
be on it’s way to Germany by the time you are reading this. 2002.11.17 Well, finally Tim and I have
decided on the tracklisting for SYNAPSE: NOISE PROCESS - SYNAPSE (the
Dead World E.P.) _ Dying World (ESR mix02) by
Electro Synthetic Rebellion Also we have some tests of the
art from John: Just have to do the typesetting
and some tweaking and the remix CD is all finished. As soon as we work out a
release date with Wire we will give you the info. 2002.10.10 "synapse", artwerk
by J. Reuss. logo placement by soil. Synapse is on the
way. We are working with WIRE right now on the release date and all the tracks
to be included on the release. We think everyone that enjoys electronic music
is going to appreciate this release. Club EBM mixes, breakbeat/drum and bass
mixes, dark experimental, noize, extreme restructures. We are going to be very
proud of this release. Remixers include: Dismantled, Putrefy Factor 7, E.S.R.,
Autocad, Kratarknathrak, Invidious Devotion, Reel, Neoland, System Syn and more.
Plus we have restructured "Dying World", ourselves and are adding a couple mixes.
Including the much anticipated "Dead World". "Synapse", will be availible early
next year if everything goes as planned. Our next CD "Groundzer0", is currently
in production at Fractured Studios and we'll have more news on it soon. Thanks
for listening.. 2002.06.01 Just a quick update
since Tim & I have been exceptionally busy. "Neural Code" has hit pretty big
world-wide. We are being asked to do many shows and do remixes and whatnot,
so your sure to be seeing more of us. Our next release is going to be very special,
we are currently working out details with Wire. For now though i can let you
know the basics.... Our next release is to be a remix CD of "Neural Code". Thus
far we have recieved several remixes and seval more are being created. We don't
want to release the names of the remixing bands until the list has been decided.
We CAN however release the name of the CD which is going to be (tentativly)
S Y N A P
S E (the dead world e.p.) Which means it
is going to highlight our track "Dying World", as well as a few other songs
from the CD AND special remixes of the new songs from our forthcoming second
full length CD which we are hoping will be finished and released early next
year.More news very soon. Thanks for listening.. 2002.01.14 It has been a
while since our last update. December and January so far have been pretty busy
with promotions for the upcoming release of Neural Code in February, and so
far the early response is very positive. This past month or so NP has done 4
interviews with Zillo, Sonic Seducer, Refraktor and The Violet Collective. The
Violet Collective interview is posted on our website and the others will be
there shortly. Also NP has recently done there first radio "Spot" for Future
2 Radio in Reinwelle Germany, and will have Incarnate and Dying World featured
on thier station. There are also 2 reviews from Sonic Seducer and Elektrauma
in German on the Wire-Productions site. As well as links to reviews done by
Robert Melendez of Culture Shock and Rat Bastard of Legends magazine on our
website. Also be on the lookout for NP to do some backing tracks for an upcoming
Video Game. Release Updates: In addition to
the CD Neural Code a limited edition Box-Set to inlude a CD, T-Shirt, Sticker
and Post Card all packaged in a dull silver metalic box will be available through
Wire-Productions in Germany. If anyone is interested in setting up a CD release
for Neural Code please contact us. Also look for NP an the next Drugmouth Records
Compilation due out in the next month.. In Studio: NP is currently
in studio working on remix for Wumpscut and may be doing a remix of The Strand
for there upcoming CD. We have also begun work on some new tracks for an upcoming
remix CD of our own. If you are interested in heving a remix done or remixing
a NP track please contact us..
2001.11.19 Noise Process has
reached over 10,000 plays on MP3.com in less than 10 months. Also most of the
NP tour dates have been cancelled due to Mike's work obligations so we will
be rescheduling for sometime after the CD's official release. Sometime in February
or March tenatively. 2001.10.08 NP Plays Club Therapy
in San Diego (the longest running Industrial club in the us). On the 5th NP
performed for the Wumpscut/FLA CD release in San Diego and was blown away by
the crowd response. Tour dates for the winter southwest US tour should be announced
soon. Also NP will be performing at Gothcon 2002 in New Orleans LA on the 28th
of March. 2001.09.11 Noise Process web
site up and running. We finally have a home other than MP3.com. Also NP is currently
in the planning stages of tour to take place the first week of December. More
info will be provided as it is confirmed. 2001.08.13 Well folks it's
pretty much a formality now Noise Process has signed with WIRE-PRODUCTIONS in
Germany home to Bio-Tek, Massive En Mensch, E.S.R., Mastertune, Invidious Devotion
and now Noise Process. This Makes N.P. the only Stateside band on there label.
2001.07.02 Noise
Process just returned to Phoenix after playing the 1st international show, to
a nearly sold out venue in Tijuanna Mexico. This makes NP Phoenix's only Electro-Industrial
International act.
On
November 13th, a Saturday afternoon. John Balance [Geff Rushton] co-founder and
lead singer of the UK based experimental industrial project COIL was inebriated
and fell from the 2nd floor landing of his house to the floor some 15ft below.
Peter Christopherson was in the front room and found John unconcious. He was rushed
to the hospital but his condition deteriorated and he died soon after.

John Balance 16 Feb 1962 - 13 Nov 2004
COIL is and always has been one of my largest influences in doing music. This
incident has been like a death in my own family. I feel crushed by this wieght.
My heart and soul goes out to Peter and the rest of John's family in this trying
time...
COIL is establishing a Book Of Condolances for John's memory. If you would like
to contribute feel free to email bookofcondolence@thresholdhouse.com

Groundzer0
is being sent to Wire within the next few weeks. Expect a release within the first
half of 2005. Also I just completed two remixes for GLIS on the Alpha Matrix label.
One as Noise Process and another as re:course. They should be released in 2005
as well. Currently I am working on another b-side from around the same time frame
as End Of Line. The plan is to submit it to Alpha Matrix for an upcoming compilation.
Expect to hear a lot from NP next year! Stay tuned..

Here
is the track we submitted for the Wire Productions Compilation: Noise
Process - End Of Line [clip]
And here is a remix we did for Dismantled: Dismantled-The
Swarm [Still Thriving mix by Noise Process] [clip]
Enjoy and feel free to speak your mind at my journal.
A good place to visit when you want up to date info..

Before
we can release GZ0, Wire has informed us of a compilation that they are putting
together. So I have finished up a b-side track from the Groundzer0 sessions called
End Of Line. When we get more info on the comp i will post the tracklist and ordering
info. This summer has been too damn busy! Back soon..
[input by m renfield]
The album "Groundzer0", has been finished for a month! Tim and I have been taking
some time off in the aftermath so we can clear our thoughts and finalize the album.
We are just doing the touch-ups now and finishing the artwork text and final track
listing. The next update will be info about the final CD and anything special that
Wire has planned [ie. boxsets/merch]. Also there are some new files/remixes in
the RMX section as well as cover songs finished and planned. The files will be
availible for download this evening.. more info very soon!

The restructuring is coming along well. I have sent a list of wav's that i need
to Tim so he can find them and get the older songs updated. Currently I am working
on "Aftermath", which was planned as the final song on the record. Also I ust
finished programming another track and here is the link:-Half
life-
This will be the last demo snippet i'm going to post for the record. I think we
have a good amount of demos on the Groundzer0 page so everyone has a good idea
of the direction of the record. Plus i'm reworking the older titles so every track
on the actual album is going to be slightly different than the original demo.
In other news, I found info about a Mentallo & The Fixer Tribute being compiled
right now. Myself and Tim being really huge Mentallo fans, I signed us up and
we will be working on the track "Narcotik Calling". I started it yesterday and
it will be finished by the end of the month.

Hallo again! Noise Process is finally back online & active. We had a bit of trouble
there at the end of the year and were forced to go on hiatus for a couple months.
Now I am back in full force, a new web design, new plans in the werks, and of
course the Groundzer0 CD! Far from forgotten, it is currently in the soil.lodge
studio being reworked and remapped. Keep an eye on this site for frequent updates!
More info soon..
[input by m renfield] Special demo snippet -Injustice-
we are sorry to announce the Oct show was cancelled by the promoter...
We have a had a bit of downtime for NP in the last month or so because of a malfunctioning
processor fan. It will be fixed soon though and we will continue on the HYMN cover
and the remaining Groundzer0 tracks. Also we are considering doing a few west
coast shows soon to support SYNAPSE if we can find the time and resources. More
news to come!
April was very hectic and we didn’t get much done musically. Our day jobs took
most our time and then the Fractured Studio computer had some issues and it stalled
Groundzer0. This month though things are looking up, the FS comp should be up
again soon and there are about 4 songs to go on GZ. Also we have expanded the
studio to fit another computer (soil.lodge) and I am using it to continue re:course
and PDS as well as touch up on NP stuff.
Wire has let us know that Groundzer0 will be planned to release early next year,
along with the planned t-shirts. Also the single for the album which is “Interruption”,
is currently being remixed by Cut.Rate.Box
& I, Parasite.
Lastly, Suicide Commando will not release our rmx on the Face of Death single
but we were told it would be used on a compilation in the future as well as placed
on his website for download.
That’s all the news for now, we apologize to everyone who is anxious to hear SYNAPSE,
we are getting restless ourselves. Keep an eye on this website in the coming weeks
for more info (maybe a local show) and also I’ll have some samples of the re:course
and PDS projects on their respective sites very soon. Thanks for listening. `m.

...and look for the new preview tracks that should be availible by next week!
SYNAPSE DISCLAIMER: In an early news update that we sent to Wire, we
noted that Cut Rate Box, Project X, and Sang Rael were going to be on the release.
Near the cut off date for SYNAPSE though we saw that Cut Rate Box and Sang Rael
were not going to make it in time do to time and postal issues..and we never
heard a reply from Project X. There for we are going to try to get a Cut Rate
Box remix of “Interruption”, off of our forthcoming CD “Groundzer0”. Also Sang
Rael has done an excellent remix of Incarnate and we hope to put it on a release
as well. Also it was said early on that “re:course”, was going to a mix on SYNAPSE.
We want to let everyone know that the re: mix that I intended actually evolved
into “Dead World”.
Tim and I are currently in the studio regularly with “Groundzer0”, and we are
going to set up some demo tracks available in the media section very soon. Also,
just like “Neural Code”, all the artwork is going to be done by soil and we
will put up some examples of it asap. We will update the new again when we get
a release date for SYNAPSE.
